As we go into a new year, I wonder what is possible and what will be achieved.
The Lord has been putting on my heart a change for this year and a picture of the impossible being achieved. There has been much promised, much prophesized and there is so much going on in the world. You look at the world and wonder how will what has been spoken be achieved. But God reminds me He is the God of the impossible and that is what we will see this year “the impossible”. The impossible being made possible, the impossible being achieved in the world and in us as He brings about His promises and His plan.
Matthew 19:25-26 When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
This year we will see a number of words and our learnings come together. We will let God deliver His plan but we will be co-labourers with Him. We will know He is doing it but we will move forward in works and in faith. We will trust Him and we will still make decisions. We will move in this tension and He will do the impossible.
A number of us have done what we have been asked to do and we have done all we can do in certain areas and in this year God will move and the impossible will be done to complete what we didn’t think was possible. It will be undeniable that it is God who has done it.
As I type this I get a vision of us at the end of the year looking at a book to read which covers what has happened in our lives in this year 2022. The book is a standard size book, as this is what we can relate to in our minds, but as we sit to read the book of what has happened this year the book explodes in size to be something like a huge kids book because it will need to contain so much of what has happened in our lives this year. I get the words from the Lord “to lift your expectation because I Am the God of the impossible”.
How many times do we look at situations, look at our life’s and say that can’t be achieved therefore we settle for the comfortable? God is saying not this year, lift your expectations and expect the impossible.
Genesis 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
Sarah didn’t expect to have a child as in the natural it was impossible but God had a different plan. Don’t limit yourself this year to the natural and what you think is possible but reflect on the impossible that is reflected in the stories (real stories) of the bible. Take the blinkers off your mind.
Mary conceiving in an impossible way
Luke 1:37-38 “For with God nothing will be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
She had faith and accepted it “the impossible”.
She was in obedience and accepted that God did the impossible. Imagine how hard that must have been to do.
You may be looking at your circumstances on this earth and are saying I can’t do this, I can’t change this, I can’t give this up, but with God it is possible.
Luke 18:24-27 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 “For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?” 27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
God knows our heart, He knows our position and circumstances and He can change things in the blink of an eye and He tells me this year to expect an unbelievable speed of circumstances change. I get the words “I will bring my children to a place of tremendous breakthrough and change and they are not to feel concerned about this because this was always my plan and this was always written in my book for them. Why would I allow the world to be positioned as it is now except to let my glory shine through my children and my position to be made clear to all. Many will have choices this year and the right choices will lead to a tremendous outbreak of the impossibility of God through the things I release and do. You as my children will shine my light in ways you never thought possible and you will be flabbergasted because you will know it is me and the world will know it is me. I am excited and I ask you to be excited because it is time for the words, the prophesies the stories of the impossible to occur in ways that this earth has never experienced before.“
The impossible for His children His chosen ones.
It is who the Lord chooses
Those who draw close
Numbers 16:5 and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, “Tomorrow morning the LORD will show who is His and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him. That one whom He chooses He will cause to come near to Him.”
You are His children and you can expect the impossible. “I will leave no one out” He tells me “So be close to me now like you never have before as I search and release to those seeking me”. Be like the virgin with the lamp, be like the man with the ten minas (use what He has given you), draw close to Him and He will draw close to you. Don’t look away now but have your eyes on Him as He has chosen you.
Numbers 16:28 And Moses said: “By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will.
Gods will not ours then it is known it is Him not us. When the impossible happens in our life give Him the glory. It is like the parable of the talents, how you handle this will release more and more. Remember what he has been teaching us through sanctification over the years as He will test that you can walk in the impossible and the way you handle it will impact the level of what you can carry during this time.
The least of us
Judges 6:13-15 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” 14 Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” 15 So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”
With the least of us He can do the impossible because how could we claim the glory for the impossible. Don’t limit yourself this year saying I am not the chosen because He knows YOU and He will use YOU no matter who you are.
God does the impossible and He doesn’t lie about it.
Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
We know that God doesn’t lie and this is a hope that is foundational. It enters the presence behind the veil.
It enters us the temple right to our soul and spirit so we have an undeniable hope in The Lord.
We can have an undeniable hold on the fact that God does the impossible and we can expect to see it this year.
I am very thankful of this message. I learn a lot about this message! Thank you so much for continue to sharing about the word of God!
