9.15 AM- Not I, but Christ.

This morning’s vision the Lord gave me. God’s hand reached over and gave me a beam.

Holy Spirit said “This is the beam to start your foundation of what is going to be built.”

He then gave me 2 Kings 6:2 which talks of the beam.

Please let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we can dwell.

So he answered “Go”.

 

 Awesome.

 

7.53 PM End of the day I asked Him what is the beam.

He gave me 1 Corinthians 3:9

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building

 

Holy Spirit said to me “You are the beam son, but it must be built on Jesus. “

 

1 Corinthians 3:11

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

 

Holy Spirit said  “You are the beam on the cornerstone”

 

Rock Foundation Luke 6:46-49

But why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?

Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:

He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

 

He is the foundation.  This whole chapter gives many rules which go against the goad of our everyday life.  But he is asking us to live by these. This is fundamental to the foundation that is being built.

 

Vision

The Lord has over the last few years been taking me back to the same chapters a number of times. Why I asked:

 

He gave me this vision

Showed Me Paving stones laid (old fashioned stones). then showed the sand filling between the cracks and smoothing out. 

This sand is what we were doing with the same chapters and ground being laid.  There can be no room for movement in the foundation it needs to be solid. So go to the same chapters until they are a foundation.

 

Jeremiah 12:5-6

If you run with the footmen and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with the horses?.

And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you.

Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

 

He only puts us in places we can handle.  He gets us in condition so we can step into all He has made us for.  This can only happen as the foundation is strengthened.  He loves us too much to put us in a position we don’t have the foundation for.

 

Over the next posts let visit those areas which make up the foundation as He won’t move us on to bigger things if this foundation is not sound.  He won’t build the house.
