GNASHING AND WAILING
I asked the Lord what is meant by the verses where these words occur.
His answer to me was to go and read them all as they are written in the Bible, and understand them.
He then explained them in this way.
Outer Court versus Inner Table:
Your daughter has a wedding coming up.
You have all the people who have accepted their invitations coming to the wedding ceremony and afternoon tea. But you only have less than half coming to the reception.
This is what it will be like at the wedding feast. Everyone will be saved but not everyone gets to go sit at the wedding table. He will ask each one up and say where to sit.
People consider Him their best friend, someone they have a close relationship with and suddenly they are not invited to the wedding feast. This causes the Gnashing and Wailing of teeth.
He wants everyone to be sitting at the table (as this is His love for us) but many know His name but don’t know Him.
So I asked the question how do you get to the table?
His answer
“By being close to Him”
Conversation with The Lord regarding Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Who are “The” Called?
I asked the Lord why does it say “The” Called.
His answer “People choose whether they step into the calling.”
I asked what happens if they don’t.
His answer three simple words “Wood, Hay, & Stubble”
1 Corinthians 3:12-15
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
After this I asked how do people know their calling?
His answer
“By being close to Him”
How do we be close to Him and what does it represent?
Psalm 17:15
… I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.
2 Corinthians 13:5
… Do you not know that Jesus Christ is in you?
Colossians 2:6
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus The Lord, so walk in Him.
Every morning I look to see if I am closer to likeness in Him. Have I advanced, am I closer to His face, am I walking in Him.
Colossians 3:1
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things of earth.
This is the way for us to walk. This is the way we are to spend our time. This is what we are to base our actions on.
2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
For God to shine in us and through us there must be none of us and all of Him. Let us move down the path of transformation. Let us be one with you Christ.
Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Let us be close to You. Let us move down this path of transformation brick by brick revelation by revelation.
