NO DOUBT

When times are different to what we are used to it is so easy to pull back into a position of sitting still or conservatism, and that is ok in some circumstances, but I really feel like the Lord is telling us in this time in the world we are to make a statement.

How many years have we been reading and listening to the fact that we are to have faith and courage?  For a number of us there have been trials to test us and bring us into a stronger position but now the world is being asked the question and as children of God are, we being strong and faithful in these times?

If we say we have faith, yet we doubt in these times then how do we say we have faith?

James 1:6-8

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

To be able to stand in the current circumstances with no doubt and courage is what we are being asked to do. We may have stood in times of peace and calm with faith, but did we really have faith?

Jeremiah 12:5

“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

Now is a time of being on the floodplain of the Jordan for a number and now is a time of running with the footman for others.  Where are you at this time?  Understand your strength of faith and where you are as there will be times ahead where we will be asked again and again on the strength of our faith.  We need to be at peace in the Lord knowing He has us and He has the answers. Don’t doubt this.

 

How many times do we read the stories in the word that tell of us of faith?  We understand them, we believe them yet do we know that this applies to us as much as anyone else right now.  Maybe your financial position is not good at the moment due to loss of job or business and you are wondering what is going on.  God tells us not to doubt in these circumstances.  He can make something out of nothing.

2 Kings 4:2-5

So, Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbours–empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 “And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.

And the oil wasn’t running out. Elisha had no doubt when he gave this word that the oil wouldn’t run out.  Don’t be the double minded man but understand the Lord has all the oil in the world.  He just wants us to stand at the moment with no doubt. Remember that we are not of this world even though we are in it.  Get close to Him at this point as He knows where you are and what is going on for you in particular.

 

CLEAN OUT THE COBWEBS.

The Lord gave a word recently that I needed to clean the cobwebs out of my cupboard as He wanted to refill it with more and He couldn’t do that as it had cobwebs.  These are things that I have not addressed in my life that He needed cleaned up as while they were still there in the cupboard it meant they would be an issue for me in walking in and receiving His full blessing.

So, what could those things be?  They could be financial issues you haven’t addressed ( and maybe presumed on His grace hoping they would disappear), they may be issues of relationship that He wants addressed or they maybe promises you have made that you haven’t completed.  These are things in the Spirit that are having a legal impact and mean you can’t move into more of Him and what He wants to give you.

Use this time RIGHT NOW to address them.  You know the issues you have that fall in this category.  God knows them too and He wants them cleaned up.

 

As you address these issues any doubt in these areas that are impacting you will disappear.  It is another level of freedom and you will be amazed the impact and how quick things can happen.

Maybe you are in the circumstances you find yourself now for this reason so that you address these issues.  Also change your mode of operation if necessary so you address issues along the way.  Don’t let them linger.
Deuteronomy 7:17

“If you should say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?’–

No issues are greater than God.  He wants you walking in freedom.  He wants these issues addressed in your life.  He wants you walking with no doubt.

 

Having no doubt means not sitting still in a number of cases.

James 2:14

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

James 2:22

Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

If you have a decision to make or an area to address, then get on with it in faith and without doubt.  God wants those issues addressed as well more now than ever as He is currently releasing a number of the words written about you and spoken over you.  This is the season.

 

Matthew 17:19-20

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Just do it – no doubt. If after five seconds it hasn’t happened like you expected, then keep going and hold onto your faith.  Faith is about holding on and persevering. No matter the circumstances do I believe? And will I hold on.

Matthew 9:27-29 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

 

These blind men didn’t stop crying out they just kept going.

 

In Hebrews, the position is summed up.

 

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him

 

Do you believe that He is?

 

In these times believe!

 

The words the Lord give me as I finish are “I will not disappoint. I love my children and I will bless them. So, hold on for the ride.”

I see a vision of a sleigh ride at speed and moving all over the place.  But He is in control and it is fun. It is unstoppable now as He has released this season in His timeline.

His words are “It begins”
