SURRENDER
Vision Die to yourself
I saw Samson and the honey in the carcass Judges 14:8
He comes into us. We die to ourselves.
Hive vision is about His words coming into us when we are dead and His words are sweet. The flesh of the hive is dead. When the word through the “Holy Spirit” came into the hive it was alive. There was a hive mentality of mind to mind. Our mind becomes transformed to His mind Romans 12:2.
I then saw the hive being split open to be poured out. Lion carcass being split open. His word being poured out.
As a queen bee The Lord is the king and all die for him. When we die to ourselves then all that is left is Him.
Many come to the honey.
Die to yourself
Hebrew 9: 8 .. the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
For him to be in us and for all of us to be in him the tabernacle (the flesh) must not be still standing.
Christ did it for us but let us not let the first tabernacle (our flesh) hold us back from entering the Holiest of All entering his kingdom now.
When we get to this place. Wow we have Christ in us. We have “All” (as in him).
Jesus’s blood enables us to be able to do this as he paid the price for our sins. His flesh was sacrificed for us.
This has to be one of the hardest areas of sanctification the Lord has taken me through. Dying to yourself. Our flesh wants to war against this as we believe ourselves to be something.
How long was Moses in the wilderness to die to himself?
How long was Joseph in prison to die to himself?
How long will it take us to die to ourselves before we can be used?
What does surrendering dying to yourself look like?
Hebrews 6:11-12
The Christian dare not entertain the slightest self-confidence, self-satisfaction or self-joy, as though he could trust his flesh
Luke 9:23
Then he said to them “if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Psalm 23
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.
One interpretation of this verse is dying to yourself which he requires. It is not an easy walk.
Jerimiah 13:16
Give glory to the LORD your God Before He causes darkness, And before your feet stumble On the dark mountains, And while you are looking for light He turns it into the shadow of death and makes it dense darkness 17 But if you will not hear it, My soul will weep in secret for your pride…
We must die to ourselves these two verses highlight this through the valley of death.
He doesn’t want us taken captive by the enemy (through pride or self)
Galatians 5:23
And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires
Outcome of Surrendering
Death to the flesh
2 Corinthians 7:11
For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner:
Outcome of sorrow through trials and tribulations is the giving yourself to The Lord. Not just saying it but weeping and being on your knees.
Each of us has I am sure been in this state.
1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also suffered once for sins the just for the unjust that He might bring us to God being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
He died so the Spirit could be released. In us.
Old wine to new wine
Hebrews 9:17
For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
As we die more to ourselves. The old wine is replaced with new. Christ becomes all in us then
we are dead and the power is there.
If we are still in ourselves then the power is not there.
Let us glorify you Father and let all of us be dead to our old man so that we can walk in the full power of who You are in us.
God does it for us
Psalms 100:3
Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
God made us, do not think that we had anything to do with it.
He shaped us He moulded us He took us through the fire.
He brings us to a great place. We have nothing to do with it. He makes us.
But we must die to ourselves
Day of Christ comes
2 Thessalonians 2:1
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
A level that this can be applied to is ourselves personally
The falling away of the rubbish so the man of sin is revealed He is revealed in the temple. The temple is ourselves. He sits in us as God.
The day of Christ will come when this falling and sin is revealed. The salvation is received. Christ then fills our temple and we are cleansed. We need to stay there in that position. And we become totally cleansed through deliverance.
Kingdom of God
Matthew 20:25
When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
To enter the kingdom of God we must give up all and die to all.
Now He tells us here how hard this is for the rich man and us. He shows that the rich man struggled to die to himself and to give up his wealth which he is attached to.
But He then says it is impossible for us to do this dying but with Him all things are possible.
It is James 4:8 draw near to God and He will draw near to you. As we really seek Him and get close we die to ourselves and it becomes possible through Him to do this.
Let me be near to You God let me be dead to me. I want the kingdom fully in me so let me die.
2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
This is a state we are to have now not when we die physically and go to heaven.
When we truly die to yourself we are clothed.
We are pleased because we are absent from us (our body) and are present with The Lord.
He is in us.
Let me be dead to myself.
This is the message He is giving again and again. Oh let me live this way by being dead to myself so that He is fully in me.
Ecclesiastes 7:1
A good name is better than precious ointment, And the day of death than the day of one’s birth;
2 Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart.
8 The end of a thing is better than its beginning.
These verses are about dying to oneself.
You can’t feast and live unless you have died (house of mourning)
