The message I am getting fair and square from the Lord at the moment is it is time for taking territory. One of my earlier teaching covers territory taking but I feel the Lord wants me to cover it again.
Why?
Because something has changed and we are moving into a time in the Lords timetable where our preparation has got to a place where a number of His children are now in a place to move forward.
For those of us who have been going through years of sanctification it has been in preparation for what we are about to do now. No matter where you are at in your walk He is going to ask you this year to step up and get off the couch (if that’s applies!) and start taking ground.
The atmosphere has shifted and you can see things moving through on the earth at this time. This is not by chance and our Lord knows exactly what is going on.
Every morning this year as I spend time with Him praying I am getting the same vision. It is of the baseball being hit out of the park. He tells me it is time to hit the ball out of the park. The game is on.
Some of the basics of territory taking again:
Exodus 23:28-33
28 And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. 29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land. 31 And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the sea, Philistia, and from the desert to the River. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. 32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
- The Lord does it before you even get into battle. You need to be listening to Him, obedient and in your calling. If you are hearing Him and obeying you will be in the right time and the right calling. If you don’t obey Him it will be difficult.
- Do it bit by bit. The Lord will not put you in a place you can’t handle. SO listen to Him.
- When you take the territory don’t fall into the trap of loving what is in that territory. As an example you may have been struggling for years financially and you suddenly take ground and feel a financial blessing around you. Don’t love the money but remember your first love. Don’t make a covenant with what is in that land but instead bring Christ into the land you are taking.
He is going to bless us more abundantly (Ephesians 3:20) than we can believe in the next few years and we must remember what He is telling us here about holding that ground.
Don’t stop taking territory. He may give you a rest along the way but don’t sit back comfortable on the couch with that new ground. David did this instead of going to war and this is when some of the biggest sin of His life occurred with Bathsheba. He was resting on the couch instead of doing what He was called for. Don’t do it.
Leviticus 26
3 ‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing;
you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid;
I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your land.
7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you.
8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight;
your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.
9 ‘For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.
10 You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new.
11 I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.
12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.
13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves;
I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.
HOW GOOD IS THIS!
This scripture shows us what we are going into with this season. He is going to look on us favorably, He is going to clear the land of evil, He is taking out the old and bringing in the new.
The old you is gone and the new you is here. You have been sanctified and it is time for territory.
BUT He tells us we must obey His statutes and commandments.
You must do this and if you are of the mindset that it is you doing this territory taking then stop right now. He is doing it through you. He is in us as one but He is doing it. He asks us to step up, to step out so that the territory can be taken but it is His glory, His power that lives in us.
When you die to you and live to Him then the territory is taken, the prophesied words over you can be completed and the declarations He has made in heaven for your life will be done.
I feel this in the atmosphere now, this year, and I will live in the house of repentance, I will die to myself every morning, I will listen to His instructions and I will take the Kingdom territory He has for me to take. And it is an exciting time.
Our foundation is strong. We are righteous and we can take and hold the ground. This is the season.
There are giants but our God is bigger. We are in a battle so expect resistance but our God is stronger. He has prepared us.
Every inch we take is a win. You may be in the place where you can only just take back the space that is around you (the one foot circle around you), or you may be in the place where you can take nations. We are all one body and every inch taken is darkness replaced by light so don’t underestimate that inch you take. But take it.
Joshua 18
Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them. 2 But there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance.
3 Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?
Have you received your inheritance?
If you haven’t then He tells us to go and get it. He meant for us to have it.
The words I get now are:
“I bless my children now, in ways they have never seen before, their obedience is rewarded, their years of patience comes to fruition and I step in and do the work. Be ready children for time is short and I move now to put many things in place quickly for what is ahead. There is a kingdom change about as I will no longer stand back and accept what has been portrayed and positioned as my territory. It is bigger than all there is and I have made it for my children to enjoy so we start the battle and we complete the ground taking to put right what is wrong. Be diligent, be excited but step forward and I will bless you mightily now. I am with you so look at me at all times of doubt or anxiety as I have it.”
