We are saved and we receive salvation as the price has been paid for us.

We are sealed in the Holy Spirit when we are saved.

Some receive the Baptism of the Spirit when they are saved and some receive it later. Some don’t receive it.

Then some receive the Baptism of Fire.

And through this we are Saved and Saved and Saved.

I was asking for some words through a friend to confirm some words I had been getting around business I was doing.  We are told to get confirmation from two or three witnesses so I do this often.  This friend of mine hears the Lord’s verse very clearly and in detail.  I have yet to hear a word through them that hasn’t proved correct.  What normally goes wrong is my interpretation and I realise His word is never wrong.

While I was receiving this word the Lord kept bringing in the fact of being saved and being saved and being saved.

This intrigued me as my mind immediately thought what are you saying Lord?  Do I need to get saved again and again? So I asked him this question.

Lord I understood that once we were saved we were always saved.  His answer was.

“This is correct and when you accept me you will be up here with me when you die”

Great that was what I wanted to hear.  So I asked why did you say to me about being saved and being saved?

His answer was that “saving is continuous”.

I started to understand with revelation. We are saved instantly but it is a continual walk in saving and sanctification.  This is moving from the darkness in us and replacing it with the light becoming one with Him.  It is about stepping out and moving into more of Him and what we doing for Him.   As Jesus said at the end of His time here.

John 17:4

I have glorified You on the earth.  I have finished the work you have given Me to do.

We have a job to do and to achieve this we have a sanctification process to get through.  This is being saved and saved and saved again. It is continuous as we sin and let darkness in.

And we are expected to do it

I asked the Lord why was it important to be saved and saved and saved.

His answer

“Because it won’t be as good up here as it could be if you aren’t going down this path”

WOW that stopped me in my tracks as that was a pretty black and white statement.

We are going to be in heaven and we are going to be with Him but it is different for each of us.

If there was ever a doubt for me to ever stop what he is asking for me to do then this answer killed that thinking.  No matter the adversity, no matter the cost I want to get done what He has asked me to do.  I don’t want to miss out on a thing in heaven. I want it as good as it can be.

This is very much a stepping out. There is no comfortable chairs for us to sit back in while I wait to go home. Don’t get me wrong you get to make the choice. You can sit back if you choose.

Philippians 2:12

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

You are saved but are you saved and saved and saved?

We are citizens in heaven.  We are told that

Philippians 3:20

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,

We have a place in heaven and what will it look like?

Philippians 3:14

I push toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul knew he had to get things done.  I am sure he understood the prize and completed all that he could because of this understanding.  To be as good as it could be in heaven means being saved and saved.  Take out the things in us that are holding us back Lord.

Jeramiah 18:4

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.

Take the issues out of us Father. Save and save and save.

This isn’t necessary an easy thing for us.

Another word we received in the last couple of weeks from the lord was this,

“It wasn’t easy for my son either in his time on earth, He had things that didn’t go to plan again and again.’

That really got me thinking.  I hadn’t thought about that.  Jesus was made like us for when he was here and it didn’t go to plan always.  But the way he walked you wouldn’t have known (if we could walk like that).  He still finished the work that he was here to do however because His Fathers word was good and Jesus had His eyes on that.

2 Thessalonians 2:13

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,

14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Reveal to us what needs saving in us Father. Ongoing being saved through sanctification. Ongoing being saved and saved.

Philippians 3:12

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

He makes it clear to us in scripture what we are to do.  His word is consistent.

Press on it is exciting.
