In the last couple of weeks I keep getting a consistent message through my reading, time with the Lord and experiences all related to “a spark”. At the weekly prayer group I go to, this idea came through again. What is the spark needed to light things up now in your life?
It started bringing together a number of verses I have talked about in the last few months and gave another level of understanding to these verses. We know that a verse in the bible has multiple levels of wisdom that the Lord is looking to release to us and over time as we dig in these levels of knowledge come out.
How many of Gods children are maybe sitting at the moment waiting for something to happen or even start? Is that you? Have you been praying for something to happen for something to ignite and get going?
I am convinced this is a wonderful season of release and many things are happening for Gods children, Gods kings and that this ignition is available right now.
There are little things that maybe happening around you or in you at the moment and these are the sparks ready to ignite. God maybe throwing a little challenge right in front of you as a prompt and he wants to see you act on it. You maybe getting a prompt inside of you to ring someone, to go somewhere or to do an action and this is the spark God is looking for you to use to ignite.
1 Corinthians 3: 6-8
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labour.
Have you planted or have you watered? Have you provided the spark?
I was listening to a podcast earlier in the week and the speaker talked about the season being one where kings are on the horses and to remember that the Lord leads the horses. It is a season of kings but it struck me that the kings actually need to get on the horses in the first place. Without this action of getting on the horses then the Lord has nothing to lead. Have you got on the horse?
The spark will require faith. It may require you stepping out into an uncomfortable situation or getting off the couch.
Remember Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Your faith in a situation could provide the spark the Lord wants to use right now in your life for His kingdom. But the Lord needs to see your faith in action because then He can ignite and grow you into more and more.
James 2:22
Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
Your works are a spark.
I am experiencing time and time again at the moment events opening up in my calling that are only happening because I am moving on the prompt the holy spirit is giving me. It may be a phone call, a business meeting, a strategy that I am actioning but they are happening everyday now and things are accelerating. There are multiple sparks occurring for multiple events.
I have no doubt this is an appointed time in Gods timeline for a lot to happen and the Lord is looking for His kings to step up and His children to be about His kingdom work. It is an exciting time to be around and to be hearing His voice and to be acting on His prompts.
He is looking as to who He can use and where the spark can ignite action. I have been doing some teachings in the last few weeks and I have started these with a vision I received several years ago which I share gain now as I believe this is very relevant for now:
I saw a blanket coming down (nighttime His children getting ready for sleep). Then there was a moving of people around getting them ready and putting them in the right place.
I see the Lord then going around at night while people are sleeping and opening a flap to their heart and Him looking at it. He quickens Psalm 17 v3 to my mind: You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and found nothing; …
The Lord is then cuddling everyone, some were put down to rest again. Others were asked to stand and He further fitted them out with what they needed for the walk ahead. I then saw a sword holder being emptied out as he gets people ready and they take the swords. They are prepared.
I saw them going out as spearheads of light around the globe (like superman)
I then saw Him going each night and checking the heart of the remaining sleepers (cuddling them again). To see if they were ready. Then they joined the ones of light if they were. He gives up on no one.
The spearheads of light in this vision are the Lords ignited children who have been sparked into action as they are ready.
Their hearts are ready, they are at an appointed time and they have stepped out in faith and these are all things that he is looking for in His children at the moment. Check out some of the earlier teachings in these areas on this site.
This is a time to step into your destiny. We are here for this time and each of has a calling, a role to play but we have to spark it up for this to be achieved. He will do the increase but not if we haven’t sparked up and done our part. No matter how little an action may seem it could just be the spark the Lord is looking for in your faith so He can ignite. Don’t underestimate the little things He asks you to do.
Ecclesiastes 6:10
Whatever one is, he has been named already,
You are named so let’s spark into action what you have been named for. Let’s be about our destiny.
The words I get now from the Lord
It is an appointed time, a time in season when much will happen and the world will be shaken by all that I do now so will you step up and be the light of the world like I have asked you to do? Will you be the appointed ones who have had their names written in my book? Let me ink it in now and let it be an undeniable season of action, of breakthrough for those kings who are sparked into action. I will bless I will pour out and much will happen now. Be excited, be very excited and stand your ground as much happens.
