I start by sharing a vision I kept getting all day Monday earlier this week.

During the day I kept seeing a lamp with a light in it and a hand over the top of it. I saw the hand being removed and the light shining out from the lamp.  I also saw next to this lamp another lamp which was empty.

On Monday night at our church prayer group I got a lot of clarity and words around this vision and the Lord opened it up further.

The Lord is asking us at this time to take away our barriers and to shine His light out to the world.  It is time for the light which is in us to shine out and to touch those around us.

He then showed me that as we pour the light in us out, He will fill up the empty lamp. It is as per the parable of the talents. The more we pour out the more He fills us.

The last part of the vision I saw was the Lord walking around and picking up pieces of broken clay tablets from the floor and putting them in the empty lamp.  The Lord was showing that you may have had many broken words or promises in your life that have fallen to the ground but in 2020 something is changing, and He is redeeming those words and putting them back in place.

Although the world may look like it has a number of problems at the moment God is still going to step in this year and bring much to pass for you.  His promises are true and we are in a position to have our lamp filled.

The light that I see shining from the lamp is Kingdom light.  I have been coming across many verses in the last few weeks to remind me of the Kingdom position we have and are to walk in.

Luke 17:20-21
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Christ is in us and the Kingdom of God is within us.  No matter what is happening in the world we have the Kingdom within us. These verses however state the Kingdom of God don’t come with observation.  This is why the Lord is saying take the hand off the lamp and let my light shine.  This requires action. It is not sitting on the couch.  What this action looks like to each of us is different as we each have a different call and position in the Kingdom.  But as you push close to the Lord and His presence overwhelms you it becomes clear the steps we need to take.  He shows you or you feel it. Whether in this time for you it is to be in prayer or to be on the front line, we are one body and all parts need to knit together.

BUT don’t sit with your suitcases packed waiting for something to happen.  We are to shine now. He wants to bless us, but we have a part to play.

Galatians 4:19
18 But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My little children, for whom I labour in birth again until Christ is formed in you,

Through your lifetime as you have walked with the Lord the sanctification process has been occurring for us and transformation has been happening in our life. In the last few years a number of you may have felt an intensification of this process as the Lord worked to His timeline to get us ready.

What Paul is showing us in this verse is that this process was about bringing us to a place where Christ was fully formed in us and we could walk in a full Kingdom position and authority.

Where we have had darkness He has taken us through sanctification to replace this with light. As we are sold out to Him there is less darkness (sin) in our lives and the Kingdom light of Christ shines in us.

He is formed in us and we can walk in a position to shine Christ wherever we go.  If you are in a battle you have this light in you.  No matter what is happening externally to you Christs light is in you and that will stand.

Paul goes on to say in Galatians 5: 19-21

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

and in Ephesians 5:5

For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

In these verses we see clearly that where there is darkness (sin) in us we cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.  How can Christ fully form in us where we have darkness present.  He wants us fully clear of darkness so that all His light can be in us and not part of His light contending with any darkness in us.

At this time we need to live in the house of repentance.  His blood has paid the price for our sins.  We just need to repent.  Repent and change our habits so as to give no more room for darkness to stay in us.

We want to walk in power and authority, so we need to kill the darkness in us.

It struck me that when we take communion His blood is becoming one with ours and darkness is washed away as we repent.  We become one with Him as the blood is mixed.

What a powerful position that puts us in. All of Him in us.

Further clarity from Paul is given in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

We don’t let the enemy sit in this temple (us) but we let the Kingdom fill us.  We must kill the darkness in us, stop the enemy taking any ground in us and we let Christs light shine.

A pretty simple position but a very serious battle for us at times.

Colossians 3:3-4
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Christ wants to appear through us by being fully in us.  He wants the hand off the lamp and He wants to shine through us in the world at this time.

It is a season of blessings for us now so let Him fully be in you, let Him shine out of you and let the world see who Christ is in us.
