It strikes me that when something is not going right or not how I need it to go that I pray to God for things to happen.

When I am looking for a change in my circumstances then that is where my prayer focus is.

God has been showing me recently in some very strong circumstances that He isn’t going to move, He is the same now as He has always been and that it is I that has something in me that has to change for the circumstances to change.

He is teaching me, He is transforming me. I still keep praying but I change the way I pray when He gives me revelation.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

God doesn’t change who He is, it is us who changes.  If you are going around the mountain again and again then it will be something God needs you to change or get revelation on.  He isn’t going to change His nature or who He is but He wants us to change so we become more like Him.  Thus we go through some trails and through the fire.

Titus 1:2

in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

God doesn’t lie, He doesn’t change so if there is a problem where does the problem lie?  With us as simple as that! He wants us to show what has to change.

God’s nature is to love us, provide for us and be there for us.  That hasn’t changed but we need to recognise that sometimes this can be a tough love.

2 Timothy 2:11

This is a faithful saying:

For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.

12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

He can’t change His character, He cannot deny who He is as He has always been. This should give us a peace and something we can rest in.  God is a constant that we can totally trust in.

God may have said a word over you or you are waiting on a promise.  God doesn’t lie and He wants that word delivered to you.

Habakkuk 2:2-3

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

It will surely come God isn’t going to change.  We may do something that makes something change but it is not God who has changed.  He will bring out Plan A-Z to cater for the things we do in our free will to ensure His word is delivered.  It is his nature He can’t help but do what He has promised.  It is us that makes it hard on ourselves not Him.He loves us always and He only wants us to be more and more Christ like so He allows us to change to become like this.  He doesn’t change.

Nehemiah 9:8

…you have performed Your words. For you are righteous.

Joshua 21:45

Not a word failed of any good thing which The Lord has spoken to the house of Israel.  All came to pass.

Lamentations 2:17

The Lord does what he purposed

He has fulfilled His word

Which he commanded in old days…

1 Thessalonians 5:24

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

He does what he says. This is His nature.

If something is not going right in your life, if something is happening again and again that is a problem, if you are in a hole then look at why.  God’s nature is to perform, His nature is to love, and His nature is to see you walk as a son of God.

He doesn’t change so there is something in you that He needs to see changed.  He is highlighting a transformation that he wants to occur in your life.  Search for the revelation, the wisdom, the teaching he is giving in the circumstances you are in.  What do you need to change so that you are one with Him?

Ezekiel 12:25

“For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord GOD.’ ”

26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

27 “Son of man, look, the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’

28 “Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord GOD.’ ”

So the Lord has been showing me in recent weeks that the reason I am not seeing the word being performed is because there is something in me I need to change.  He tells me he desires to see His word completed in me and I have been crying out to Him for this to occur yet it doesn’t seem to happen.

He doesn’t change and I needed to realise that I couldn’t pray for Him to change so that things would happen.  He was showing me I needed to change something fundamental in my actions so that he could move me on and He could complete His word over me.

When you are getting nowhere don’t look to Him to change look at yourself and ask God to show you ok what is it that I need to change, What do I need to learn?

He is faithful to know my heart and He has shown me what I need to do now and how to change.  He will do the same for you if you seek Him.

The words He gives me are

“I have made many promises to my children and I continue to do this every day over them.  They will be fulfilled if my children obey me and listen to my words.  It is a great time of change ahead for the world as I release much into it of who I AM.  So listen to my voice and I will direct you and bring you as one to Me.  This is my heart’s desire to see alignment with all I have said.  I am the rock on which the temple is built so know this rock is unmoveable and has been so before time began.  Become the pillars for me in society now.  It is time.”

He wants us to change so he can use us. Be willing.

Malachi 3:6

I am the Lord, I change not.
