IS YOUR TEMPLE READY?

The Lord has taken me on a journey over the last two weeks showing me further understanding of some key verses that I love to meditate on. I thought I would share this with you.

We are the temple and we are meant to carry the presence of the Lord. Luke 17:21 tells us the Kingdom of God is within us.

We are the temple, the earth and that is why we pray on earth as it is in heaven.  The temple has to be prepared (sanctification) for us to walk fully in Him and His glory to shine out.  It is at this point we are justified and we walk in all we are supposed to.  Sanctification first and then Justification.

 

2 Corinthians 6:16

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

18 “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”

Very clearly it is stated we are the temple of God and He will dwell in us.  This is the natural position.  This is how God walked with Adam.  He dwelled in Him.  When the fall occurred this dwelling was broken.  When Jesus paid the price for us with the blood this connection was opened up again and God could dwell in us again.  The natural state of man was as Adam walked with God (prefall). This is how we are meant to walk.

 

In 2 Kings Chapter six we have Solomon building the temple for God.

This temple building is done a precise way.  Solomon under Gods instructions uses craftsman and he builds many rooms and it is slowly built up over many years.

This is what God does with us if we are prepared to let Him.  We are saved and then we go through sanctification which involves God using craftsman around us sometimes to direct or instruct us.  It involves putting many rooms in us as He adds precept on precept within us.  We get to a point where the temple can receive the tabernacle, we receive Him fully because we can handle it.  And then we walk in a justification position in faith knowing what we carry and we can accomplish what we are meant to accomplish on earth.

 

2 Thessalonians 2:1

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,

2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

WE ARE SAVED, WE HAVE A POSITION IN CHRIST

3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

SANCTIFICATION, PREPARATION

4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

DO WE LET IDOLS SIT IN THE TEMPLE (IN US)? OR IS IT GOD ALONE?

5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.

THIS POSITION IS FOR NOW.  THERE IS A RESTRAINING UNTIL THE TEMPLE IS READY. IS YOURS?

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

ARE YOU WILLING TO LET THE LORD SHOW YOU WHAT HAS TO BE DEALT WITH?

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

THROUGH SANCTIFICATION HE REVEALS WITHIN US THE LAWLESS ONE AND IF WE ARE WILLING AND REPENTENT HE WILL CONSUME HIM WITHIN US. A CLEANSING WILL OCCUR NOW.

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

ARE YOU WILLING TO BE CLEANSED AND HAVE THE TEMPLE READY? WILL YOU LET THE CRAFTSMAN WORK AND THE ROOMS BE ADDED?

11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,

14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WE ARE TO OBTAIN THIS POSITION NOW.  THIS IS WHAT HE IS TELLING US IN THIS WORD.

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,

17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

WE ARE TO STAND NOW IN THE POSITION OF CHRIST WHICH WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT.  WE ARE TO WALK NOW IN THE POSITION OF CHRIST BEING IN US.  LET US MAKE OUR TEMPLE SO CLEAN AND READY THAT IT CAN CONTAIN THE FULL GLORY WHICH WILL SHINE OUT OF US IN EVERY GOOD WORD AND WORK.

 

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AVAILABLE NOW, THE THINGS OF THE EARTH WITHIN US WILL BE BURNT UP AND THE PLACE THAT IS LEFT IS ALL HIM.

11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness?

12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

LET US HASTEN, LET US BE SANCTIFIED AND LET US BE THE TEMPLE CARRYING ALL OF HIM. LET THE FIRE DO THE WORK.

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

LET US BE THE NEW TEMPLE “ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”. WHEN RIGHTEOUSNESS DWELLS IN US WE ARE JUSTIFIED AND WE WALK AS ADAM DID (PREFALL)

14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

WHEN HE COMES IN THE NIGHT AND SEARCHES OUR HEART (PSALM 17:3) LET US BE FOUND CLEAN BECAUSE WE HAVE LET HIM DO ALL THE WORK IN US THAT WAS NEEDED. WITHOUT SPOT AND BLAMELESS.

 

HE SEARCHES YOU NOW EACH NIGHT.  ARE YOU THERE? ARE YOU A READY TEMPLE? HAS THE WORK BEEN DONE? HAVE YOU LET IT?

 

Vision received during worship a year ago

 I saw a blanket coming down (night time getting ready for sleep). Then there was a moving of people around getting then ready and putting them in the right place.

 Sword holder being emptied out as he gets people ready and they take the swords. They are prepared.

 I see the Lord then going around at night while people are sleeping and opening a flap to their heart and Him looking at it. He quickens Psalm 17 v3 to my mind: You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and found nothing; …

 The Lord is then cuddling everyone, some were put down to rest again. Others were asked to stand and He further fitted them out with what they needed for the walk ahead.

 I saw then going out as spearheads of light around the globe (like superman)

 I then saw Him going each night and checking the heart of the remaining sleepers. To see if they were ready. Then they joined the ones of light if they were.

 

HE IS CHECKING THE STATUS OF THE TEMPLE AS HE WANTS TO RELEASE MORE AND TAKE YOU TO A NEW LEVEL.

 

Conclusion

Colossians 3:3

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

 

WHEN YOU TRULY HAVE THE TEMPLE PREPARED WE WILL APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY.  WE CAN WALK LIKE THAT NOW. LET THE TEMPLE BE PREPARED.
