Visions given during a worship session

  • I saw the Spirit pouring down (means there’s a message coming)
  • Then a Body in clothes dying to self. Held in His hand
  • The offering plate held out and all things being placed on it. He wants all.
  • Slingshot pulling back to release power in us.
  • Spinning top being wound up to let the power go
  • Then there was dancing in power
  • Then picking up swords and dancing with swords in front of the enemy
  • Praise with hands raised (a major weapon)
  • Strike sword into the ground (means statement coming up)
  • The Lord writing declaration of the power we walk in
  • Walking in power with sword son of God

Final vision was walking onto the offering platter curling up and offering myself in total peace

This peace is being in a total settled place.

1 Peter 5:10

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

What does this settled position look like?

This is not putting the feet up in a wonderful comfortable position but being in a place of sacrifice, a settled place in Him.

  • FIRST WE ARE PERFECTED

Hebrews 6:1

Therefore leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go onto perfection.

We progress into this. Ties very much into Romans 12:2 and 1 Peter 5:10. We are being perfected now being made sons of God material.

Colossians 4:12

…that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good acceptable and perfect will of God

You are perfected when you are in his will.

Seven months ago the Lord provided us a wonderful home after a long period of trial.  The way this home came together was amazing and was from Him.

Three weeks ago He told us to sell this home.  We loved this home and couldn’t understand this.  His words were yes I gave you this home as this was the desire of your heart and you were determined to get it so I blessed you.  But you have been asking Me to be in My will.  My will for you was a different plan so I wish you to sell this home and step back into my will.  We agreed and this house was sold in two days in an unconditional offer in an area that can take three to four months. He blessed obedience.

He said to us you could have stayed and I would have blessed you but you would have not been in my will.  Many of my children I bless but that does not mean they are in my will doing what I want them to do. Are you willing to pay the cost to be in my will?

As we are perfected we will find ourselves in His will and willing to pay the cost to be there. Believe it or not there is a settled place in these circumstances when they occur in our life.

Perfected / Settled

Hebrews 5:8

though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

The blessing he learned and all great men of God learned obedience.

V9 And having been perfected

He went through trials to learn obedience and to be perfected. A settled stage as in 1 Peter 5 :10.

Hebrews 6:1

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

What does this settled position look like?

  • TRANSFORMED MIND

Colossians 3:2

Set your mind on those things which are above, not on things of the earth.

This is what the mind that has been transformed does

2 Corinthians 5:1

For we know that if our earthly house this tent is destroyed we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

If we aren’t here in body what is left but our spirit. Let “I Am” be present to show that I have transformed into him.

V2 For in this we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven.

We groan we cry out in tongues. Out soul wants the Lord in all we do we want to be clothed with him, him in us and us in him.

2 Corinthians 6:16

… For ye are the temple of the living God as God hath said I will dwell in them and walk among them I will be their God and they will be my people.

We are one with him.

Hebrews 9:8

The Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

The flesh has to die our first tabernacle has to go.

As we become one with Him the mind we have is the mind of Christ not our own.  Suddenly we are thinking and being like Him more and more.  This is the key to a settled place.

What does this settled position look like?

  • PEACE

1 Timothy 5:6

Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Colossians 3:15

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Ephesians 2:14-15 & 17

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

There is a peace in this settled place.  We can expect to have this.

What does this settled position look like?

  • WE ARE IN HIS HANDS

Job 12:10

In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind.

Acts 7:10

But God was with him and delivered him out of all his troubles and gave him favour and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

1 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of The Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

2 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon Him for he cares for you.

He holds our hands we are settled when we are in a place where we understand He does it and we can rest in His hands.

What does this settled position look like?

  • POWER

In this settled position we know who we stand in and what we have

Ephesians 3:20 –power

Now to him is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

So when we understand this settled position we start to receive the blessings.

Luke 6:19

And the whole multitude sought to touch Him for power went out from Him and healed them all.

We understand 1 Corinthians 4 20 The kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

Or in

1 Thessalonians 1:5

For our gospel did not come to you in word only but also in power and in the a Holy Spirit and in much assurance …

A settled position is a position of power as we understand who we are and the peace that comes in that.

Now does this settled position mean we sit back put the feet up and wait?

Philippians 3:13

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

SO we are children in receiving him but settled and mature and now we move forward. But we need the mind (transformed).

So when you have settled we can move into the Kingdom of God.

Let’s sit and pray and think about the things that are in your heart or your mind that are holding you back from this settled position.

Without this settled position we can’t stand and complete all that is written for us.

One thought

  1. Transformation is only done through His Holy Spirit of Fire in us which devours our human desires into a new life in Christ! Then we receive the Prince of Peace Jesus in us which teaches us all that pleases God! Amen
