Vision during worship

Portal being opened. Many hands opening it

Cry out for His release. He wants us to want it.

I see a harvest (wheat in bundles) with a steel band around it.

He fills a cup and hands it to me to drink. Christ in me.

Steel band breaks and the harvest spreads.

Dancing with joy during worship.

The Lord has spent much time teaching me about the Kingdom of God. Why?

Because my traditional views and teaching I had received weren’t showing me everything available.

Luke 17:21

20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

21 “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

I feel He was showing me in this vision that a number of His children have a steel band around then which is restricting them from coming in to all He has for them.  He wants to break this band and bring His children into the kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is within us and is ready to shine out but first the band must go.  For this to go the darkness must be cleaned out so that only light is left.  This is how I feel that Jesus walked pure light and no darkness.

Mark 9:1

Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here that will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.

Now I thought the kingdom of God was something we experienced when we got to heaven (and we will be in it there) but the Lord had this verse come up again and again when I first got the baptism of the spirit. He was showing me something. Now in this verse He was talking to His disciples.  I realised all His disciples have well and truly died but He said that some of them wouldn’t taste death until they had experienced the kingdom of God present in power.  They walked in power while they were still on earth and they did miracles and walked in a peace no matter what was coming against them.  How did they do this?  By walking in the kingdom of God.  It became obvious to me that the Kingdom of God was something for now and I could live in it now like the disciples did.

We have it now we can walk in it now. We are required to walk in it now if we are to achieve what He wants us to achieve while we are here on earth.

Jesus made many statements about what we are to do about the kingdom of God

Luke 4:43

…”I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

Luke 8:1

Now it came to pass afterward that He went through every city and village preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:2

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Luke 9:11

But when the multitudes knew it they followed Him; and He received them and spoke the kingdom of God,…

Luke 9:60

Jesus said to him “Let the dead bury their own dead but you go and preach the kingdom of God.

There is no question that He wants us walking in the kingdom of God.

A consistent message of what we are to do. Thy kingdom come.

What are some of the requirements to enter the kingdom of God?

As a Child

 Mark 10:15

Assuredly I say to you whoever doesn’t receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.

We must not try to rationalise it but accept it as a child.  It is real and it is now.  I had spent years trying to rationalise this but He is saying come as a child, trust Me and walk with Me as you would if you were a child. Hand in hand face to face.

Phillipians 2:14

Do all things without complaining and disputing that you may become blameless and harmless children of God.

A key to kingdom is to be a child of God.  There are traits that a child has.  Search them out and live by them.  When we are children we obey, trust and believe our Father.  This is critical to entering the kingdom of God.

Baptised

John 3:5

Most assuredly I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

To enter now we need to have experienced both these baptisms to move into the Kingdom of God

Be Righteous

1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God….

The opposite of unrighteousness is righteousness.  Righteousness equals faith. Unless you step in faith you can’t enter the kingdom of God

Romans 14

17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is faith, peace in Him and joy.

Joy is what I am being shown now.

Let these three work in me Father so that the kingdom of God shines out of me.

Move forward

Luke 9:62

But Jesus said to them “no one having put his hand to the plough, and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.’

 Hebrews 10:38

Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.

You can’t look back and say I want to be back where I was at that was more comfortable.  Expect a cost to moving forward.  How much cost was the “blood” for us?

Through tribulation

 Acts 14:22

Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

Luke 17:21

The Kingdom of God is within us.

And through tribulations he reveals the Kingdom within us. He restoreth the soul.

And then in 1 Peter 5:10

… After you have suffered a while perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.

The trials/tribulations take us to this point of Kingdom and being settled in the position as a son of God.

But there is a process and it hurts. The clay is moulded.

REMEMBER THERE CAN BE NO DARKNESS ONLY LIGHT WITHIN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. FOR THIS TO BE IN US THEN TRIBULATION WILL BE ALLOWED TO CLEAN US UP IF NECESSARY.

Through this we get beyond ourselves, we die and He is in us.  The kingdom of God within us.

Kingdom of God as a body

Ephesians 4:4

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

There is one and He is in us all. This isn’t one for each of us but one in all and we enter the relationship with the One and He is through all.

It is not about us but the One in which everything consists.

The One is for all.

So this is how we are one body and if we recognise this and live like this (and it is not just lip service) then the kingdom is within us and we are approved and the kingdom is now.

This is what he was telling me last night. He said he would reveal this to me and this is the first scripture he takes me to this morning.

We grow up from being children and when we grow up in all things (v15) we grow into Him who is the head – Christ. The One.  But to grow we must first be children. And then the child’s body grows as we become one with the body. This is why we minister to the body.

Mark 15:42

Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

He was waiting for the Kingdom of God took courage and did something. He must have understood that Jesus was coming back and with him the kingdom. He must have listened.

Now we have the kingdom of God within us so let us take courage and live in it.

  1. “Because my traditional views and teaching I had received weren’t showing me everything available.” … this statement (that you make Darren) sums up the position: we’re not saying that the *traditional view* is less… we’re simply saying that we think there is *more* out there! Well articulated article mate!
