There is one thing I want you to understand and that is the size of who our God is.
When you have doubts or fears or unbelief I want you to consider these words I am going to share now.
When we receive a word from God through prophecy do we really believe that God can do it?
If we understood the size of God we would have no doubt about what God can do.
Matthew 11:12
Without faith it is impossible to please him and you who come to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
You must believe who He is to understand the size of God
FULLNESS
Ephesians 3:18
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
If you look at a husband and wife or a brother or sister there is a difference and complexity of the brains (can anyone understand this). Can anyone understand the difference between a man’s thinking and a woman’s thinking?
Every part of these individuals life’s He knows. He knows what they were thinking at this moment 20 years ago, He knows what they will be thinking this time tomorrow and He knows what they will be thinking in twenty years.
Now he knows this for everyone of 7 billion on this planet, everyone that has been and everyone that will be and he knew this before time.
Now put every bird and animal on top of this, He cares for the sparrow
SHOULD I BE WORRIED with a GOD this size. When He says something over me, or when I am in a tough position should I believe He is there or do I let the enemy get away with his lies and I doubt.
2 Corinthians 5:18
Now all things are of God….
Jeremiah 10:16
…For He is the Maker of all things… The Lord of hosts is His name
Ephesians 1:23
And He puts all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church which is His fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 3:9
…who created all things through Jesus Christ…
Ephesians 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
This is a fullness we can expect. He is in us, each of us. He dwells.
When we have His fullness in our heart and our mind there is no room for anything else.
HE IS IN ALL THINGS AND OVER ALL THINGS
Acts 17:24
God who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
Nor is He worshipped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
This is how big our God is. All is a mighty big word.
The book of Colossians talks about the size of God.
Colossians Chap 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the pre-eminence.
So when we walk in the battle, when we see things, when we are taken beyond our understanding know that He made it and because He loves us we can take a power and position in this. A rest. Do not fear. When we experience something in the Spiritual do we fear or do we understand who and how big our God is.
He tells me in His word here that he has created all things for Him this includes principalities and powers. So do I need to fear? No I just need to walk in the authority position I am entitled to walk in as I am a son of God – A big God.
Colossians 2:15
Having disarmed all principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
I have Him in me, this triumph.
Colossians 2:9-10
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
I am complete in Him and He is over all. I need no more than Him. He is a big God.
Colossians 2:3
…. Both of the Father and of Christ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
He knows it all. He loves me why do I fear? Why do I want the glory?
I get a prophecy or a word over me that sounds great and I think I am something. Do you think I am ready to carry this prophecy?
He knows all He is a big God. He knows my heart.
Jeremiah 23: 23-24
“Am I a God near at hand,” says The Lord, “And not a God afar off?
Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?” Says The Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” Says The Lord.
He knows us, He is with us, He puts us in places we can understand. He fills the heaven and earth (how big is that?).
So do we get exposed to a situation, the Spiritual or a Word that He doesn’t think we can handle?
My God doesn’t put me in a place I can’t handle. He knows the width of my shoulders He knows what they can carry.
And it’s not physical size its spiritual size. Will we be surprised on the physical size of some of those biblical heroes when we get to heaven?
Joshua chap 14-18
Look at the detail in these chapters on dividing the land.
God had promised an inheritance
He made sure that everyone got land
He knew everyone and no one missed out
This is the size of our God
The Lord said to me “it is important for his children to remember I will leave no one behind. I wish each of my children to have their full inheritance.”
He is a big God and He knows everyone of us and has a plan written for everyone of us.
Ecclesiastes 3:14
I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to it,
And nothing can be taken away from it.
God does it, that men should fear before Him, That which is has already been And what is to be has already been; And God requires an account of what is past.
A key step to growth and the building of our temple is to understand how big our God is.
There is nothing He is unaware of or nothing He can’t handle.
To walk in Him and grow spiritually you need to know how big He is.
